“Never Enough!” Boutique Always Has
More Than Enough

by Karen Fetter

You can never have enough jewelry, accessories, purses, and shoes. Why? Because shopping for these items is so much fun and the fashion is always changing. This is the answer of Rosine Dull, owner of “Never Enough” Boutique located on Pennsylvania Avenue in Greensburg, PA.

That is why she started a store carrying specialty lines only to be found in boutique stores. Lines such as Brighton, Vera Bradley, John Medeiros, Crabtree and Evelyn, and Hello Kitty. Rosine previously owned and operated the 18 Karat Goldsmith Shop with her husband Donald. After 20 years they decided to retire from the business. However, Rosine’s eye for fashion was still at work. During her retirement she found these boutique lines that she fell in love with. So in 1999, just two years after closing the previous store, Rosine opened a new venture, Never Enough, with her husband Donald and daughter Christie Dull-Rhoades.

Never Enough is considered a Brighton Heart Store, one of only 200 stores within the 6,000 shops that carry Brighton in the United States. “We sell the line from head to foot and we represent the item in a knowledgeable way. In addition, we are involved in community events,” said Rosine. Never Enough’s stock of Brighton includes bracelets, rings, necklaces, earrings, purses, watches, belts, shoes, and bags.

“We also carry the entire line of Vera Bradley and recently got the newest line in for Spring of 2005,” added Rosine. One of Rosine’s favorite lines is John Medeiros’ Jewelry. Medeiros is a designer from Rhode Island who creates pieces in two-tones with metal and stones. All his creations carry a lifetime warranty and never tarnish. On February 11 and 12, Medeiros will be visiting Never Enough to introduce his new spring line. Rosine is holding this guest appearance as a fundraiser for the American Heart Association where a portion o f the proceeds go to the association. Hours for the presentation will be 1:00 – 5:30 on Friday and 10:00 – 5:00 on Saturday.

“We constantly try to reinvent ourselves. I order new products each week to keep our inventory fresh. I still reorder popular styles such as the registered Brighton hand bags an luggage, but mainly I’m trying new things,” said Rosine. One new item she is bringing to the store is Muramo Glass from Italy, which is hand-made jewelry with glass beads.

Another extensive line Rosine carries is Crabtree and Evelyn. She has body products for men and women, body wash, and cologne. There is Sarah Blaine silver and 18kt gold pieces, as well as stone and fresh water pearls. Other popular items are heirloom antique jewelry and monogrammed jewelry in pendants and rings.

“One item in particular that is a best-seller is our grossgran ribbon bracelet. The customer selects the piece and we do the monogramming at no charge. There are dozens of different styles of ribbon to select, as the band of the bracelet is easily interchangeable,” said Rosine.

One of the “cutest” lines Rosine and Christie have begun to carry is Hello Kitty. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the cartoon character. Never Enough has everything from bedding and lamps, to notebooks, travel bags, and pencils with exclusive 30th anniversary pieces such as a key chain and makeup compact. “Hello Kitty is not just for kids, it can be for women too,” Rosine commented while showing the extensive line of products available.

In addition to these specialty lines, Donald creates customized jewelry and does jewelry repair. Customers can sign up to be on the Never Enough Mailing list, which mails new promotions to customers within a 100 mile radius.

Another great feature of Never Enough is its Wish List. Customers can come in to the store to browse and create a list of all the things they would like to purchase sometime in the near future. This list is kept on file and anyone who wants to buy that person a gift has a selection of items to pick from that will be a sure success!

“We are a friendly and personable staff. We welcome people to our store to buy or to even browse. We also wrap all purchases at no charge,” Rosine said.
